It almost looks like you're lining up a shot for one really awesome game of armored croquet, but I'm going to guess it's actually something a little more painful than that. ;)

I was fighting Mahon at the Silver Desert Championship out in Fallon in August and was using a borrowed lenticular centergrip. Mahon threw a steep angled 'J' shot to my lead upper leg, which was my left, and I voided the leg while blocking with the shield and threw a counter. The sword skipped of the shield and into my cup without losing much momentum.

It' would have been brilliant with a round shield, kite or anything else but what I had.  :(
