I concur. Most of Western Poland at the time, though, wore clothing and armor that was largely indistinguishable from Central/Western Europe.

My aim is to replicate the kit of Wacław Płocki, depicted on a seal I provided in my pavise thread:

G.

It is extremely warm and comfortable! :) That picture of me was taken after a night spent in bone-chilling weather.

The tunic, made by Angelika Strycka of Othalacraft, is a style that appeared in mostly in Russia, Lithuania, and even in Great Moravia, so it is very useful for a soft kit of a Mazovian noble who had likely been around, just like his forebears.

More historically-accurate goodies:   :)

A custom heavy linen surcoat with the coat of arms of Przemysł II, of ~1295.

Angelika is a very nice lady to work with. Don't hesitate to email her - she makes a lot of custom stuff.

Lucky, I started making my surcoat and I bought really light linen. (Its really strong but thin.)
Where did you buy your fabric?
