I don't know if you've ever seen this guy's CoA. His lions are rampant though.

True, but what if he becomes a member at some point?

But yeah, I wouldn't worry about it right now. Sir James already has a gonfalon painted up, etc. If the other dude were to join us, I'd just try to recommend adding a point of difference to one or the other (like a border or something).

This is why I registered mine in the SCA, so at least the big juggernaut of medieval heraldry in the US has my uniqueness preserved.

He has an awesome kit that is for sure! I hope I get a chance to meet him someday, as I'm curious how he mounted his crest. :)

I love that guy's kit! You know, I was actually wondering about that a few months back. I don't think it would be a terribly huge problem, unless he joined or something.

BTW, Sir Ed, how does one register their arms? I'd like to do that myself.

His new Thorkil helmet is insanely gorgeous.  Makes me want to have a bascinet done by him!

He and I shall fight - TO THE DEATH! Winner keeps their arms. And their coat of arms too. :D

Yep, he does have a nice kit. I've seen pictures of it before, but without that shield, and really like the "black knight" look he has.

Allan, you and your wife did a great job on the shield. Ironically the heater I am going to order in our group buy, I was going to see if I could get my arms painted on it too. :)

You could always try this place. I just submitted mine so I don't know if it will be accepted or how long it takes to be added to the roster but it is suppose to be free.  :-\

Well, I did it at Pennsic, where they have a whole pavilion set up for it. Outside of that, I think you can do it via mail, but I'm not sure what the process is.

I love his leather surcoat...was thinking of doing one for myself.  Well, buying one, I'm not doing anything.  LOL

Sir James...no worries brother...far as I'm concerned, you were here first, they're your arms, unless you want him to use them.  Watch that rotator cuff, its a real doozy to pop in and out.  ;)

I'm looking into this option now. This part may have some relevance for our members who want to go with this route (emphasis added):
