Finished surcoat.
« on: 2014-03-22, 20:51:03 »
I have finally finished my surcoat! Well I've finally gotten around to it. It needs improving, or I think I just need to make a better one, since I used light fabric, modern techniques(fabric glue for the flier de lis) plus it doesn't fit well.
Looks nice though!

Nice choice of color, Nate! A job well done. :)

very cool.

some helpful hints: taper in the top of the arm holes just a little, that way they don't stick out further than your actual shoulders.  look at your tee shirts, you will see how the top of the arm hole is slightly in say from the edges.

Ah yes I was having trouble with that! Thank you. Noe I can make it look better. Although the shoulders do give it a sort of pin-aj
