My Norman Knight kit
« on: 2014-03-25, 01:55:10 »
Finally got most of my stuff in the mail and now I think I'm ready for my first event. All I'm missing is a scabbard and belt (it's still in the works) and a shield (to be started next weekend). I have a spear but it's too big to pose with in the house.

soft kit:

hard kit:
D’azur à trois fasces d’argent, et au chef gueule chargé de trois étoiles d’or.

Awesome, man! I take it you're making the scabbard and shield yourself?

I have time but not money, so yes I am. Concerning the scabbard, at they rate they go for, even if I screw up 6 times its still cheaper to make one.
Concerning the shield, a friend of mine and I are going to use plank construction with a period glue recipe. It may be a while before I have them, but at least it would have been worth it.
