Fun Day at the KCRF
« on: 2013-09-16, 02:02:39 »
Just got back from the Kansas City Ren Festival and me and the kids had a blast!  That faire is waaay bigger than my home faire in St. Louis.  Me and the boys armoured up and got quite a few compliments and posed for lots of pics.  My highlight was getting to sit in the Iron Throne (see pic).  Definitely will be returning next season.

The jousting troupe was called at the last minute to do the Faire. I know one of them from back home. The kids were pretty stoked to meet up with Sir Duncan so far from home. Pretty cool bunch of guys. When i was talking to Duncan one of the other members came over and asked if i was jousting with them that day!  When i said i was just there to watch, he said "Thats a nice kit!" Here's a link to their FB page.
