I made a tiny tweak to make the hairline against the sky look a little more real.

I think it turned out pretty well. It retained a lot more color despite still desaturating it a bit from the original photos. I had to make a fake sword tip since it originally went out of frame, and also used CS5's "content aware fill" to remove a car and a boat in the background. Heh. :)

A photographer sent us copies of a few pictures that he had taken at Caldicot last year.
One of my favourites is where I`m sitting outside our tent, mentally preparing myself for the tourney.

I have plonked it on the bottom of my knight page for you to have a look.

Apparently there had been something in the forground that he had to photoshop out but I really can`t see the modification  ???

Can you go the same with a picture of me?  I mean, with a hairline currently in strategic withdrawal? :D

Nice. :) If I had to guess, I'd assume there was something in-frame in the lower-right that looked out of place, that would have been easy to cover over with more grass. But who knows, without seeing the original.

Great work, Sir Edward!

Lord Gerard, that's a great shot...contemplating the next match.

I have a question about the stainless bottle...the picture of it looks white, is that just flash, or the wrong picture for the product?  I want a mug, a bottle and a poster- but need to take a better pic for the poster.  :)

It looks white to me too. The photos are meant to be "what you see is what you get", so I'll bet it's stainless with a white coating. I think the only ones that have unpainted stainless exteriors are those last 4 thermos items.

Wow, that's awesome Sir Edward!  My new desktop background!  Just had a thought- how hard would it to change up the pics so we all have the same surcoat on?  Was thinking for a shot of the Knights of the Order of the Marshal, in the Marshal's CoA.  Maybe each of us could do a single head-to-toe shot...what do you fellow knights think?

Tricky, but not impossible. If everyone took a photo with a plain grey surcoat, it wouldn't be hard to color-adjust them. I say grey, since white and black run the risk of being over or under exposed to the point of losing the fabric texture and wrinkle details. And with other colors, it can reflect on other parts of the armor. So if one person wears pink and someone else green, and then I color-adjust them all to be what we want, your eye can pick up on subtle details that are hard to fix, and thus it looks "fake".

Then again, sometimes there's a lot you can do as long as the lighting's pretty neutral.

Huh...plain grey surcoat.  Probably wouldn't be too costly...and then we could 'adjust' the image to liking; like all of us in Marshal CoA, and maybe other combinations as the shoe fits.
