I don't even want to think of WHERE I'd have to place that!  :o

Hey maybe that is what really happened to King Edward II  :D

Well, being covered head to toe in armor makes you one gigantic grounding rod. :)

http://www.crestsunlimited.net/  pretty cool!!!

oh btw, did anyone order a pendent to put on a spear or "walking stick" for the faires with their colors on them?

It looks like the site is gone. Have they gone out of business? That would be a shame. But not really that surprising since it's such a niche product.

I just saw this for the first time.  I like Sir Brian's old one better...it looks more sturdy, more solid.  Still, better than none at all, which is what I have.  :)

Well it was lucky we got when we did!

Speaking of crests I heard from the dragon folks down @ the CRF and they are currently in Indonesia with their wood carvers and trying to get them to make the smaller 10" griffons! I told them I would be interested in either a 10" or 12" statue...I figure to just hack off the bottom of the 12" statue if they can't come up with the smaller one.  :)

They got a link, Sir Brian?  Although, I have no beast as a device so what would mine be?

I'd make my crest either a wolf or crow/raven. Preferably in black. Just not sure how to make one and I don't even have a great helm yet.

I'm with you, Sir Ulrich.  That is, I HAD a great helm but I sold it once I realized it was just 18 ga.  A really good looking one, by Windlass...but it was unlined and unpadded and I didn't want to be bothered with it.

Here you go Sir Ulrich! I think the model CK145 Black Crow, 7"X6.5" @ $13.00 one would serve you well as a helmet crest!  :)

At that price you might want to buy 2 or 3 as replacements...just in case;)
