Halloween
Ian:
Halloween is a pretty big deal to me, unfortunately this year I've got nothing to do... my squadron is having a function tomorrow but it's not Halloween related, doh! Anyway, here's my favorite costume from a few years ago that I did... foam latex, and my attempt at makeup:
Here's my costume from last year, this is a silicone mask from Composite Effects and matching gloves
Sir Patrick:
VERY cool!!! :D
Sir Edward:
Holy crap, that's awesome! Do you make your own latex appliances or did you get it somewhere? Those turned out GREAT!

Thanks! The appliances are purchased, they just come uncolored. They're basically a light flesh color when they arrive. I just did the makeup and blood on it. The 'grave dust' on my suit is just baby powder. So I suppose I was a nice smelling zombie, haha. You just apply with spirit gum and hide the edges with liquid latex. Getting it off is a nightmare though, that's why I switched to the silicone mask last year.
The vampire creature on the bottom was all professionally painted by the company that makes the silicone masks/gloves. They will do custom paint on request for all of their masks and gloves too. The cool thing about silicone masks is they move with your facial expressions, it's not just static like a normal mask would be. It's not as expressive as foam latex, but it's 0 maintenance, and always looks brand new. And at the end of the night when you're tired, you just take it off, you don't have to apply chemical to your face to release spirit gum and scrub your face raw to get makeup off.
Sir Wolf:
wow way coollll
