I regret I can not come out for this event, as I will be at School of the Musketeer at Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia, Pa.  I wish the two events did not overlap, as I would love to come out to MTT and the trip would not be to terribly long from where I live in York, Pa.  In any case, all who are going have a good time, I know I surely will.

Afraid I can't make it yet again.

I feel that events like these (I'm thinking MTA in particular) are very poorly advertised. I haven't heard a thing about it until reading your post here, even though I know the event goes on every year. There should be advertisements in places like myArmoury and SFI, and they should be well in advance. (If I'd known about this at least a couple of days ago, I would have kept my schedule clear.) I would really like to attend one of these at least once. In fact, if I knew in advance, I could tell my students about it in advance. I think these events would get more people if that were the case.

Yeah, I'd really like to make it out to one of these as well. Not sure I can do it this week though. :(

Just got back from SOM, great success.  Wheather could have been a little warmer and less windy but whatever.  Did not see Historical Interpretations there, but I know there were a few vendors cancelled last minute due to emergencies.  Both my wife and I came home with new toys, I got a hand cannon (only fires powder, no shot, but still very cool and cheap) and my wife got a really nice single piece of wood longbow.  Now I am happy and will patiently await next years event.
