I love the pictures of David's helm and bevor closing up, like a turtle retreating into its shell -too funny!  ;D

Ha! That's pretty funny.

Though truth be told, I think it was really "hear no evil, hear no evil, hear no evil". Its already noisy at the academy with multiple classes going on simultaneously, so whenever someone would ask a question I would sometimes not even notice (particularly in my earlier class where its busier).

I find the fact that you are all wearing armour alongside modern day footwear pretty funny.

The pics are ace, though. The armour is quite beautiful.

I told them to take the pictures from the knee up, but one listened to me! :-P

We do actually have period clothing, and if I were doing a demo for outsiders, I'd definately put them on. When we train in class, its at a modern fencing school, and everyone wears athletic clothing for normal training. Since that's what we're already wearing (I'd been teaching for about 5 hours before I put on the armour), we just threw the armour on top of our clothing rather than changing.

Probably easier on the floors too! I racked up points at a SCAdian event being the only
one in a large event wearing period, leather-soled boots....Talk about NO traction!!!!
Pics do look extremely well and looks like you guys are having a great time!!! ;D
