Which melee weapon would you least want to face?
« on: 2014-07-12, 21:27:05 »
Y'all know the phrase "A hate from old times", so which weapon, period to your portrayal (not necessarily local), would you least want to face in 1-vs-1 combat? Which do you think has the most "hate"?

I'd think anything that reduces my natural supremacy would be something I'd like to avoid.  Heh.  In my case, that's nearly every weapon.  ;)

Being a Pikeman, I don't fear too many melee weapons. Without my Pike, though, I wouldn't want to face a Pike. For my Border Reiver impression, the melee weapon I would most hate to face would definately be the Jeddart or Jedburgh Stave. They were particularly nast polearms.

I'm going to have to agree with Sir William. I don't particularly want any kind of weapon to the face. ;)
