Are you going to add some more photos to the 'Gatherings' section as well since it's a bit sparse!

I was actually talking about our upcoming events with my boss and mentioned we haven't got a lot of our "promo" stuff online. Last year's VARF videos still need to be finalized and posted too. If I can get my garage back in order after the blow faucet / water damage, and get some straps replaced before the Mar 1st event, I'll see what I can do.

I re-uploaded the full-length video of last year's demo into the Order's Youtube account, so that if you click through from the "Online" tab on the website, you'll see it. That makes 3 we have in that account now.

But yeah, upcoming events on the website would be great.

I want to do the faire festival, but what tickets do I order that are cheaper and allow me to help out with the sword demos?

If you mean the Maryland Faerie Festival in May I am sure I can get complimentary tickets or if you are going to help us then you wouldn't even need a ticket since you would be a performer.

Hmm, perhaps it would be wise if communications with my mother we're made. And I'm sure my brother would like to participate.

I'm not much on Faerie Festivals, but I might come down to check out the demo.  It will depend on our Faire rehearsal and reenacting events schedule, but that could be a free weekend for me, since Twisted Knot will be having events the following two weekends. Glad to see the Order will be at CSM. My Reivers will be there the day before but due to a prior commitment we can't do Saturday and I can't make the trip for either day  . Shame cause that was a really fun event for us last year.

So when is that demo coming to the Pittsburgh festival?

Well unfortunately the Pittsburgh Festival runs congruent with PARF and MDRF so it's very unlikely we’ll be able to have the spare weekends but if enough of our brethren are interested in doing a demo then I would give up a weekend from my home faire.

Another possible faire we might be able to do and I’ve mentioned to a couple of brethren is a weekend at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire near Geneva, OH.

~ The weekend of July 19th & 20th works best for me but I can to the next two weekends after if necessary.

If you do end up doing it, let me know. That one's close enough that I can make it there and back in a day. I doubt I'd be of any use for a demonstration, but I was planning on hitting that one this year anyway, and it would be cool if our schedules happened to line up.
