Here`s an interesting link to a research database composed by an Ian Rogers (possably a writer).
In it he lists information on the lesser gentry and commoners etc etc that were documented in court rolls etc. during the reigns of HenryIV onwards through the wars of the roses....

Oh, wow! How did I miss this thread? :D I'll definitely have to peruse those links more in-depth. I find lists of names like that fascinating. It kind of helps reminds you that these were real people and makes the history seem a little more "alive", you know?
