Ah good, they had "discontinued" them a while back. I suspect they were retooling them. The price didn't go up as badly as I feared either, which helps.
From using the first version of these, my feeling is that you still get what you pay for, but they're decent for that price. They're a little on the light/whippy side, but because of this, they also can be used with pretty minimal protective gear. At VAF, we would sometimes use these just so that we wouldn't have to put on a lot of pads.
