Ian:
The combat in Witcher 2 is markedly different from Witcher 1, but the regardless, the story is so much better than any other modern rpg, and it's very adult.  Not all happy fantasy...

Cool, I'll grab it. No idea when I'll get to playing it though. I'm still in DA:O right now.

Sir William:
Dragon Age: Origins was a really well done RPG, even on console.  The combat was kind of simplified but the story...the story was engrossing; so much so I played it through fully twice just to see what sort of differences I could make between the two run throughs.

FWIW, I enjoyed DA2 despite it being RPG-lite (you couldn't determine much about your character except for what class and gender they could be; if I may, this is one of the few games where being the Mage was actually the BEST choice- really cool melee attacks with what looks like a cross between a wizard's staff and a glaive); but the voice acting's top notch and the way the story is laid out was pretty interesting too.  I'm usually not a fan of dwarves, but there's one in particular that I took a liking too- the type of guy you could hang out and hoist a few with.

Sir Edward:

So how different was DA2 from DA:O in terms of the gameplay? No real customization? That worries me. Part of the fun in these games is having control over your own character, so that you make the story your own.

I'm enjoying DA:O very much right now. Is DA2 worth skipping, or worth playing to fill in the story before DA3 comes out?

Lord Dane:
DA:O was much better than DA2. Just my opinion. Better story lines & easier play. I enjoyed it. :)
