Drinking horns
« on: 2013-04-12, 10:04:33 »
looking for a drinking horn that can go onto your belt, I know I saw some somewhere but I forgot where. They sell some at the fair but not sure if they are period because they have metal caps covering the tip cause its a bugle/drink horn combo

If you are after a simple inexspensive one then ebay could be a first port of call. If you find one decorated in metal at the rim and tip, all the better  ;)

Leganoth, there's a guy on the armour archive who makes drinking horns made of actual horn; might want to check into that.

A good drinking horn is a fine companion to have at one's side  :)
