I made a change to how Personal Messages (PMs) operate. The email notification that you receive will now only let you know that you received a PM and from whom, and will no longer contain the body of the text. This is to make it less confusing. I was never happy with how it handled nested quotations within the email anyway, making PM conversations difficult to understand without logging in.

This way you will still get the notification, but since you need to use the forum to reply anyway, you might as well read it here where all of the formatting and the like still functions properly.

IMPORTANT: Remember, this is just a notification. Please do not reply to this email. You will need to log into the forum to retrieve this message.

I have a question, Sir Edward- I seem to recall that when I used to click on a particular pm hyperlink, it would page me down to it, now I have to scroll down to it...could it be a browser issue or is that how it is supposed to work?

Probably a browser issue. It still pages down for me.

Google Chrome? It does the same for me, just opens the PM inbox. I used to see alerts when I would open the forums and had a new PM, and don't see those either .. but I think that was when we got the new theme / software / something. It's been a solid 6 months or more.

All of that still works fine in Firefox. Could be an issue with Chrome.
