It was great to see you knights today at Fair. And I was honored to attend Sir Robert's knighting ceremony. The reaction from the crowd was wonderful. You gentlemen truly are an inspiration to civilians as well as practitioners. (It was a bit funny how security ::) rushed to the ceremony as well. Not sure what their reaction was going to be. ) I look forward to spending more time with you all this season and next as well.

Silvanus, it was good to see you, however briefly.  I hope to see you again, talk shop over a few ciders, you know?

Well it looks like this weekend's weather is shaping up to be another beautiful two days to wear armor if one is inclined to go both days.
I will only be able to make Sunday so I might go with a different variation of armor this Sunday. I'm thinking armor lite or "My Other Maille is at the Armorer's" type of harness.  ;)

Yep, I may do something similar. Lighter but warmer might work well. I'm taking the day off from faire on Saturday to work on DoK stuff, but I'll be there Sunday.

Opening weekend for CTRF!!! :) I'll miss Saturday but Sunday I'll be wearing my full-plate armor harness. No rain & cool 70 degrees expected. :) Anyone interested in stopping in some time, please let me know & we can coordinate. Link: www.ctfaire.com. I'll be spending more time there than KRF as I bounce between the two in October. CTRF is closer for most active forum members commute-wise.

Sir Brian, did you say you're skipping this weekend? I may end up using Sunday as one last project day before DoK.

Wow, I can't believe how quickly the season is vanishing!

Yes I think I will opt out of drinking beer in the cold & rain and go to sword practice instead. Got to show off my new fencing mask! ;)
