Wolf the Dunedain
« on: 2011-06-23, 01:08:07 »
Wolf
one of the 30 Rangers of Dunedain that helped Aragorn.

So I got to thinking about this kit. I looked thru my gear and pulled this together. What do you think? Sorry about the picture quality, I was the only one home and I've never used the 10 second timer and tripod before. No, there is no armour worn here. Missing is my bow and arrows.  The only thing that I would like to add is a Potomac Leather Company leather hood w/ mantle to match my leather jerkin.

Here is what I am wearing:

Wool Cloak with hood
Leather Jerkin
Linen Surcoat
Cotton Shirt
Leather Bracers
Leather Gauntlets
Leather belt
2 Pouches
Sword w/ Leather Sword Belt
Dagger
Cotton Pants
Moc Boots

Very nice! Now I feel like you need a crossbow or longbow to go with it. :)

Griffin Works Leather have hoods w/ mantles like the one I wear with my 'lite' armor kit. They are at least $100.00 cheaper. He doesn't have them listed in his online store but if you send him an e-mail you could probably get what you want.  ;)

cool thanks. never heard of them. I really can't afford stuff for small kits like these. If I can find some black deer skin I could possibly make it. but thank you!

I like it. I'm going to truly embarrass myself and say I don't know what it's based off of, though.

i sorta made the Lord of the Ring kit as one of the Dunedain, one of the 30 Ranger men that helped Aragorn. It's not in the movie as the story line would have confused people with all of the extra stuff.
