Yeah, I really like the Panther Pavilions. They're a but pricey though, especially if you get the bells and whistles (which you do want, since it's worth getting the 7' tall sides, flame retardant and UV protectant coatings, etc).

We got ours second hand (it had only been to a few Pennsics), which helped us get it more affordably.

I guess we derailed the thread a little. Nice start on the page, and nice kit! I do love the 14th century look with a coat of plates, simple plate components, some splinted leather, etc. I look forward to seeing more of your kit. :)

By all means, derail away!  Here's our old Panther set up next to our current Panther on the day it arrived.  We sold the smaller tent to an SCA friend (he got a great deal).

Thank you very much Sir William.  Yes, I did make the armour stand.  It has a plywood base, black iron pipe fittings up to the waist and pvc fittings from the waist up.  I'll take a photograph this weekend when I pack for practice.

I've gone the lazy route and commissioned one...the search for a SFH w/spacious garage and work area is still underway but with things as they are, it is difficult to find what we're looking for.  I remain optimistic for the nonce.
