mixed feelings this year at faire
« on: 2010-10-14, 01:37:03 »
so my daughter and i are all jazzed up to come to the faire on Saturday. but i have this little issue with leaving Logan behind.  I'm sure his mother and grandmother will take him to Toys R Us etc for a belated birthday but I still feel awkward about leaving him. :(  Autumn was a little more grown up at 3 than he is. And I just don't think I could manage the both of them and still be dressed up. I know I'm just babbling and Autumn and I will still be there, guess I just feel guilty this year... maybe next year I will make him some armour or something and his mother and lil sister can come then too.

Yeah, don't feel bad dude. Just bring him next year and let him have a little time to grow some more first.

Yes give your page another season before starting his training...besides little princesses need some extra attention from their daddy! :)

Yes, and he won't miss what he's never known before, so don't feel bad.  Besides, like Sir Brian just said- every daughter needs a little her and Daddy time...it is all good, brother.  There's always next year- then you can begin his training, when he's a little older, more mature.

yes this is the ultimate daddy/daughter day as she puts it. but she always asks to bring her brother everywhere we go. i say "but then its just not our day!" and she usually responds with something motherly about not wanting her brother to be left out or sad or just wants to be with him etc.

Ah, sounds like you've raised her right if she's so solicitious of her younger brother- no sibling rivalry, that's awesome man!
