In stock gauntlets at Best Armour

If they fit me, I'm definately buying them. The exchange rate is quite nice for hardened steel, and these will match my gothic harness quite well.

Very nice! I hope they fit well, as they certainly look nice.

They have a nice set of Wisby's too. I'll have to keep them in mind.

They just got back to me. It looks like the gauntlets I wanted are too small, and their other in stock gauntlets are too big. However, he told me that delivery time for gauntlet orders is now for March 2010, so I'm seriously considering getting a pair of custom gothic ones.

That would be great! March isn't too bad, all things considered. I know I may end up waiting a year for my scabbards.

As long as they're not the type of armorers that give you a date, then slip another 6 months or more.

They contacted me and said they're ready to star working on my gauntlets a month early. They also, it turns out, are running a sale: Free installation of gloves with any gauntlet order (normally you have to install the gloves yourself), and they are willing to upgrade to spring steel for about $150 extra, which I definitely agreed to. With the current exchange rate, these things are going to cost roughly $900 in spring steel, which is a very good price:
