Will 2014 be the year of the Black Knight of the Order of the Marshal?

Maybe! At least for MDRF 2014.

I'm 1/3 of the way there. I *love* this armor. Heat treated, blackened, carbon steel. It is *light*. And black armor with red straps? Drooool. :D I don't think I could fight in this armor - if I scratch up the blackened finish I'll be a sad knight!

Pardon the mundanes. I'm just excited and it's not a full harness... yet. :)

An added bonus is that black-knight armor makes you invincible. ;)

Maxim at Wild Armory, part of the armor ordered by Brian Price that he flaked on. They didn't fit me, but Maxim said he could rework them to match my measurements since they weren't really far off (just needed some shrinking, no expanding). Me either! It will be perilous for bouts with Sir Nathan, as the most I can suffer is just a flesh wound. ;)

I suppose at the moment only your legs are invincible. That means you'd better get the rest of the kit together so we can all see it so you can be invincible all over. ;)

Haha, yeah, I took a couple of pics, I had to hold the camera in front of me and take pics blindly, nobody to take pics of me and the mirror was being uncooperative with the lighting behind me, the black armor was just a blob. Sorry about that. I posted these for free, I normally get paid for this kinda thing. ;)
