I often carry a haversack with me. I use it for my utensils, plate, bowl, cup and other assorted odds and ends (like dice and cards) that I don't want to have to dig into my snapsack for. Haversacks are more 17th Century and forward, but there are some pictures that seem to show something similiar in the 16th Century. I just consider myself to be a trendsetter  ;D
