those vertical hanging pieces are way to wide and too far forward. the nasal is actually a lil long compared to the original but it works cause it looks like the others of the time frame

Do you think they modified those lames for functionality sake for historical combat?  Or, what I'm thinking, they just got lazy and messed up?  Nice helmet though.  I am a fan of some of those viking helms
