Met an Amazing Armorer @ CRF…
« on: 2008-11-06, 15:29:32 »
He was at the CRF in a booth called “Armour Gnomes”. His name is Nute Scott and
his work is very impressive. Although I am not even a remotely qualified judge of
armor, I however do know what I like and I can recognize the work of a master craftsman
by that craftsman’s attention to detail and conscientious designs.

Here is a picture of Nute Scott…He reminds me so much of a younger version of my favorite
CSI character!  ;)

Nute had some truly nice spaulders that I absolutely drooled over and had intended to
buy when Rosemary and I returned on closing weekend, however our very own
Dragonlover exceeded all boundaries of generosity and presented the spaulders to me as
a gift of friendship the next day!

I will try to convey into words just exactly how grateful I am not only for such a lavish and
wondrous gift, but also how such a thoughtful and benevolent gesture utterly awed, inspired
and humbled me to the very core of my soul. I can only hope and pray to my Lord and savior
that I will be worthy of such friends as you and your lady.

And now without further fanfare here is a picture of my new spaulders!

I heartily agree! Nute has the knack and maybe one day he will think himself
worthy enough to carry on his own work as his own Master craftsman. He does
have some nice toys!!! ;D
We are truly blessed to have met YOU and YOUR Lady, Sir Brian. I'm glad we
had the occasion to help you compliment such a wonderful kit that delights so
many we happen upon. Keep up all your good work and see you guys soon! :D

He was able to go over my new harness with me last night and had some very good suggestions! He was like a kid in a candy store unpacking it all, Lol! ;D

I'll be sending lots of pics Sir Wolf as soon as my daughter assists me
in getting them sorted and loaded up. Going to be a bunch since this harness is going to have some labor intensive effort into it.......
It's the full-steel gothic rig from Armstreet...... :P

Greeting gentlemen,
The site is up but is still in process of becoming more functional. I do appreciate all of the rave reviews from such noble gentlemen like yourselves. Hope the holidays are treating you all well.
Oh and what CSI character do I remind you of Sir Brian?
