GDFB Fabric items

Anyone looked at the GDFB cloaks and doublets? I got a chance to see some of these in one of the shops at PARF this past weekend.
Doublet:
http://cashanwei.com/product_details.asp?id=GB0173
Hospitaller Cloak:
http://cashanwei.com/product_details.asp?id=GB0133
Templar Cloak:

These actually weren't bad. Nicely done seams and edging, and the doublet had very period touches, including the button holes (no grommets), iglets, etc.

the cloaks look nice but i have my doubts on the doublet. it needs a peplum around the bottom i think. the sides look too straight to "fit" a normal person. i'd have to see it and try it on.
heyyyyyyyyyyy u went to PARF and didn't tell me?
you going up again?

I agree with Sir Wolf.My first impression of the doublet was that it needed
a more "fitted" of tailored look. How heavy was the fabric of the cloaks
Sir Edward?

Yeah, we were up there for a wedding. The wedding was held outside despite the constant rain that weekend, and we went to faire in the rain throughout the weekend too! Crazy.
The cloaks seem to have a good weight to them. They're not as thick and heavy as, say, the Half-Moon cloaks from MD faire. But they're a decent wool, it seems. I'm tempted to get them. Might have to wait a while though since I'm still paying for all of this year's toys.
