I'm terrible with terminology too. I know my cuts and guards, and the rest just rattles around in my head.

I frustrate a lot of HEMAists because I use non-style specific describing language. I kinda know some Italian terms but I prefer modern English.

I enjoyed reading this blog and I appreciate the Armizare, Italian rapier and Vadi articles.  I even enjoy das Bill's article on the training methods.
