Is it this? http://www.friendsoffaire.com/  If so, doesn't look like anything local to me. Let us know how it is though, and congrats on joining.

Greetings- I just visited the SCPF, I wish I had read this previous we may have met. I was visiting my germanic brethren that I have missed over the past year. If you go look up Jason with the germens he knows me well.

I'll add SCPF to the dictionary so it starts highlighting. It's the Southern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire.

Pleasure Faire?  Sounds interesting...

Yeah that made me turn my head quick as well, sounds....well a bit unsavory, but no its a Renaissance faire...although seeing some of the attendees makes me wonder a bit, but it is outside of LA after all.

I think it would be very hard to miss the German mercenaries actually, they will certainly offer to buy your companions and recruit them.

I wouldn't necessarily call a pleasure faire unsavory, but in my mind, armor doesn't figure into it and I'm a bit too old for such shenanigans now...but once upon a time, I would've been game for just about anything.  Anything hetero, that is.  lol
