You can make me a set of cased greaves, right? ;)

(I don't know what to actually suggest, because I don't actually know what you can and can't do...)

I guess before suggesting anything, I should ask what period kit you're going to be working on next. Or is there anything you need to complete one you already have going?

So this weekend's armoring got the wheels turning again, so to speak, eh? :)

Sir Wolf,
You don't by any chance have any pictures of your work, do you? That'd certainly inspire us to give more realistic suggestions.

what year is everyone shooting for in the late 13th/early 14th century? haveing that time frame i'll build a new kit to historic standards when i get home ;)

as for pics ummmm ummmmm.
i've made mostly spangenhelmets. i've done a few pieces here and there or arms, legs, spaulders. and a bunch of fixes for other people. but i would ahve to say the thing i've made the most is spangenhelms... made i think 6 of them. have 2 in my shop that were started but not finished too. (ultuna and another swedish helm)

i'm at the beach this week so sorry i'm so slow to catch up on conversations etc.  :)

Well, as long as we're not expecting to all be from exactly the same year/decade, we can be pretty flexible. I've been aiming for around 1280-1320, roughly.

ok here goes:

sugarloaf helm
coif (padded and mail)
gambeson
long hauberk with intigraded mittens
ailettes
coat of plates
jupon/surcoat
chausis (padded and mail)
soupcan knees
shield
sword

ok i need the helm, ailettes, mail chausis and the shield.

any help with making the chausis Ed?  for the long sleeves i plan to wear my 3/4 shirt and just make something from butted ring from the elbow to the mittens and tie it in place since i don't have any riveted rings handy.

the shield and the ailettes i can make and theres a few sugarloafs for cheap on ebay right now.
i have the coat of plates sewn, just need to cut out and shape the plates for it and rivet it all together. hmmmmmm now i need a new jupon/surcoat.... and a coat of arms.... hmmmm

any thoughts?

I need to rework my chauses as well. I'm not sure how I'm going to go about it. Of course, it's also possible to make just the lower portion of them and attach them to the padded cuisses. That probably wouldn't be hard.
