Re-Wrapping a sword handle
« on: 2012-03-08, 17:58:12 »
One of my fellow MASHS members asked me if I could rewrap the cord on his Albion Liechtenauer. I told him I would give it a go even though I never did it before but figure I should learn since my Meyer is already coming unwrapped. :(

So I figure I might as well go for broke and I ordered these:  ;D

I can see it now...very cool, Sir Brian.  Is he going for a leather-over-cord wrap, or just the naked cord?

He hasn't really specified what he wants. The linen cord is for my Meyer after I perfect the technique on his Liechtenauer. ;)

Ok a little research has provided me with the reassurance I need.

There's precedent for linen cord wrap, I just like the look of it under leather.  ;)

I like that, after you perfect the technique...sounds like a plan to me.
