I think falchions saw a lot of use across many different strata of society, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. That Windlass piece is definitely more of a sword-hilted falchion, so it would really only be inappropriate for a peasant.

Sir Uhlrich, that's the one! Huzzah, now I know who made it so that if I see another I can snatch it up too. I really like it and from what I understand it's no longer being made.
