Greetings!
« on: 2010-09-30, 18:09:57 »
I've been lurking about for the last few months and have decided to officially join the fun!  I am a history buff and particular fan of the medieval period.  I began collecting swords and a bit of armour in college, but the hobby got put on hold when family life started.  Then earlier this year while surfing the net, I came across a picture of Sir Edward, which led me to his "Show us your kits and harness" thread over at My Armory.  Inspired by his kit (and Sir Brian's, who had also posted), I decided to dust off my collection and make a serious stab at getting a kit of my own together.  In the process, I've become a member of several forums, and while all have been helpful in my quest, Modern Chivalry is by far the friendliest!

Welcome aboard! Yep, that's very much what we try to do here. Help each other out in our knightly pursuits and keep it friendly and civil. Drama is a class in school, not a way to socialize. :)
