600th Anniversary of Agincourt
« on: 2015-10-23, 14:48:26 »
Gentlemen:

Anybody doing anything in celebration of the glorious victory at Agincourt? I'd love to get together and drink some mead, ale, or wine.
Respectfully,

W. Edward Graf von Ettendorf-ReBrook, GOTJ

It's coming up on Sunday, I think, yes?

I and several others will be at the MD renfaire. Raising a glass of something tasty while on site sounds good to me.

I'm going to go shoot a bunch of French people with an English longbow, but they don't know it yet

I'm gona war-hammer some Frenchies, then swill that pissy champagne all over their unconscious selves as they lay flat. Long bow is in the shop.

I don't think the arrows are quite supersonic, so they'll have some mild warning. :)

Thorsteinn, you should write a review of it in the Library.  I kind of want to see it.

I'm going to wait a bit more as I don't want to get anyone with spoilers. My wife has a theory about the main character that would blow a major portion of the plot.

Remember that it is based on an AD&D PC of Vin's.

Went to MD Ren Faire Drank beer and worked on my Medieval Historical fiction story. Nothing to anniversary as I was at faire all day but I've been reading a little of my Agincourt book and looking at amazing pics of Henry V.
