Theres also no historical precedent whatsoever for wearing a sword at the dinner table. If you aim to be a historical reenactor, don't practice a ahistorical habits.

That's right. Having no swords at dinner is how the food fight started. :)

Wow, this is just a few days away now. I guess I had better make sure I know where everything is that I intend to wear.

I am really impressed with the new location. Also they really make a lot of changes to the overall experience each time. The show and music were great, they touched up their martial art a bit (as much as you can with a tiny bit of space) and it was nice meeting Mike. Also I'd like to thank Mike for helping arrange our annual Order dinner. Huzzah!

No problemo. I may regret saying this, but I kindly volunteer my planning services should they be needed.

Though I got there a little later than I expected, I found a good parking location.

Three blocks past, on the left, next to a little cafe; the entrance is directly on King Street. It's an automated parking ticket, takes ONLY exact cash or credit card. Da Vinci designed the credit card machine, so if you put a card in and hit pay, it'll only charge you for an hour. You have to insert the card, hit MAX, then PAY. $5 maximum, good through 11:59PM that night. And just a few blocks walk.
