I thought I'd introduce myself....
« on: 2014-09-15, 23:08:38 »
Some people on this forum may know me...some not.  I'm one of the founding members of The Noble Company and Order of Saint Maurice.  I've been involved in armoured combat on and off since June of 1980.  My first exposure was the SCA, and for the last fourteen years, I pretty much did my own thing.  "My own thing" ultimately expanded into The Noble Company and Order of Saint Maurice.

I have had an interest in the Crusader Period since picking up a dog-eared copy of Harold Lamb's "The Crusades", previously published as two books:  "Iron Men and Saints", and "The Flame of Islam"  It has been a fascination that has been difficult to shake, and a thirty-four year long habit.  I am pleased to meet like-minded people, and look forward to whatever discussions that come.
