1257 AD for Mount and Blade Warband
« on: 2014-04-14, 01:18:14 »
Well I finally got around to replacing my old desktop with a better Lenovo laptop which can run games rather well. I been playing 1257 AD non stop for DAYS unless I'm sleeping or working I am on that game, rather addictive but considering I have been wanting to play it for YEARS since 2011 when my old PC would not run it properly this new laptop works FINE for it. Does anyone else here play the game? I mean I basically got a bunch of my friends into it as well and I was considering playing it online just curious if anyone else here plays it as well or would be interested in it as well. I actually have my full Teutonic outfit in this game fully resembling my IRL outfit which is quite cool, never really had a game where I had my EXACT outfit.

I used to play a lot of M&B right up to the beta testing period for Warband.  I haven’t played since.  Balancing time between home, work, family, friends and the SCA keeps me busy enough these days!

I have it. I never did upgrade to the final version, though. I'm still on v0.97 since I don't think saved games are compatible with updated versions (at least that's how it works with the Romae Bellum mod). I've been doing quite well for myself on Crusade and didn't want to have to start all over. ;D

I love 1257 AD. It's a great game, and I can easily replicate the kit that I aim to do in it, which is so very cool!

I'm not much of a gamer, honestly. At this point besides a bunch of weird uber-difficult scrolling shooters IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, (heavily modded) and 1257 AD, I don't play any other games.

I'm still playing it. I take a break from it every now and then but always come back to it. My favorite mod is the Floris Mod which is a compilation of over 33 other mods. I've been interested in the 1257 mod but never tried it yet and probably will download it in the near future since they finally completed it since it was in development for a long time. :)
