« on: 2013-11-15, 23:29:17 »
Well, as we all know it is almost that time of year again- Thanks giving(united states holiday) Is already 2 weeks aways, Hanuaka will also be starting around the same time as thanksgiving, and then It will be Christmas and New years.

How are you going to spend the holidays?
I know im going to need to save to buy gifts.

I haven't thought too far beyond Thanksgiving yet. The fall is always a whirlwind for us over here. :)

I think it is hectic for most people, I don't even know what I'm doing for thanksgiving.

I spend my holidays the same way I spend every day, Pinky.... trying to take over the world! Erm...I mean, I have no plans for the holidays. I’ll probably go see The Hobbit with my folks on Christmas Day like we did last year, but otherwise it’s just another day.

So a Norman, a Saxon, and a Viking walk into England....

Visiting my girlfriends family one day, my dad the next for thanksgiving. I have no idea what we're doing for hannukah & x-mas. But we are ignoring my mom & step-dad.

We are hosting both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. Thanksgiving with the wife's family, Xmas with mine.

Wife's brother is working and her father wants us over on her birthday instead of thanksgiving...a bit of drama but probably will end up cooking some stuff for the mother in law and the wife and then going to her dad's on the 30th.

Well I have to work the Saturday after Thanksgiving but ‘Black Friday’
Will be similar to Sir James’ day.   ;)

Polishing my plate pieces of armor
De-rusting my mail - ditto
Replacing leather straps - ditto
Braiding new points – might have to do this at Christmas time.
Washing Replacing crappy cloth buttons for pewter ones on my gambeson.
Sharpening my sword – Mine’s still good and sharp, but I ordered some guards and a grip to rebuild an antique heirloom ‘civil war era small sword’ that has come to me via my father in-law.  :)
