Right; I was sort of surprised to realize that LoTR:RotK came out TEN YEARS AGO.  I remember it almost like it was yesterday....took my Mom and sister to see it.  Time flies, truly.

I guess some of us are showing our age here.  I remember going to see ROTK on opening night while home on Christmas leave from my senior year of college.

I was in my basement Toying with my zilla's and Knight playmobiles, there was a magic screen and alas, Lord of the rings was on dvd commercial came on.

I think I saw the 2nd and 3rd in theaters, its very hazy, I think it was the third
They should Remaster them to make the CGi better. Nothing else should be changed
