A few progress pics:
I was making up a template that I intended to use on leather and I came up with a little bit different idea. I used materials close to what they would have had access to historically (yeah, I used wood glue instead of hide or cheese glue
), but the actual accuracy of these is dubious. In this case, I'm okay with that as long as it works. Nice and light, too. Walking around with it on without hitting anything will be another matter, though.
