"It wasn't the reward that mattered or the recognition you might harvest. It was your depth of commitment, your quality of service, the product of your devotion -- these were the things that counted in a life. When you gave purely, the honor came in the giving, and that was honor enough."

Yep, we've discussed them before, including a thread here:

http://modernchivalry.org/forum/index.php/topic,874.msg8416/topicseen.html#msg8416

It's a good time. A little pricey, but if you can get discounted tickets, that can be a good option. It's cheesy and light-hearted, by design. From pictures I've seen, it looks like they've really dressed the place up since we were there.

Hey, we should all go representing the Order in full armor!  My wife'd love it too...she doesn't garb up but she loves to watch us do our thing.

Surely you meant "in armor" and not "in garb"? ;)

I will warn that space is quite tight at Medieval Madness, so if you're big and bulky with pointy bits sticking off of you, you'll b e poking and bumping other people constantly. :)

I did, Sir James...I have no use for garb other than to cover me from the cold steel I prefer wearing.  ;)

Shall we start making preparations and set a date for Medieval madness this year?

Funny you mentioned this as Sir Edward and I touched upon the subject briefly yesterday after HEMA training.  ;)

Is Saturday January 31st too soon for everybody? Or is February 7th better? - Although that is getting very close to Valentine's day.  :-\

I started a poll here (http://modernchivalry.org/forum/index.php?topic=3508.0) to make it easier to consolidate :)

Having seen the show in the new venue, its significantly larger. It's about two blocks up King St from where the original location was

Hey guys. If my schedule permits, I'd like to come down for Medieval Madness. :) Any thoughts??
