This article is quite interesting in that it gives an account of what the Judicial Due was in the Renaissance.  This duel is unique in that it took place in France and the weapons used in this duel were sideswords and rotella shields.  Still it is an intriguing tale.

I am aware that this is an ARMA article and its director has added additional notes of his own in which I consider it to be his interpretation.  However I encourage you to read the account first and then take it from there.  Hope you enjoy it!
