Sure!

Due to what m persona is I can draw from a lot of what was going on from the time period I'm looking at. Plus there isn't a lot of forearm & shin protection for a guy running around in the late 8th century.

Rautskegg...I love it...I could pull that off if I got the padded jerkin, chausses and mail mittens.  Oh yes, and the helm and shield.
