Wedding harness?  I tried to talk my wife into a period wedding, but THAT wasn't happening.  Getting very jealous now ;)

LOL

Hey, I tried the same...my wife conceded one thing- my sword.  She actually requested that I wear one, and I had originally intended to wear a mail vest with a black cross in the center, but it was just too hot for it so I left it at home.

I guess a sword-wielding groom ensures the spectators "hold their peace"!

That's what she said!  LOL

I couldn't refuse her request...and it felt hellacool.  On that day, I swore my bestman into knighthood, whereafter he received the Accolade and was gifted w/a sword so he could stand beside me.

Yeah, that's really awesome. We're still trying to decide if we want to do a medieval theme or not for ours. If we go with more modern traditional, I was thinking exactly the same thing- suit and sword.

I didn't think it would fit well together but, if I don't say so myself, we cut a dashing figure with those swords at our sides.  I did originally want a medieval-themed wedding but I realized that I would've been by myself.  lol

Thanks man, I appreciate it.  I never thought of myself as particularly photogenic but my wife certainly is.  :)  Unless I'm in armor, then I KNOW I am.  lol
