This little ditty used to be sung in some British military academies. For all I know it is sung in the ranks today too.

Sung to the tune of Frere Jacques:
Agincourt, Agincourt,
Crecy too, Crecy too,
Nile and Trafalger, Nile and Trafalger,
Waterloo, Waterloo.

Quick, everybody get an Agincourt kit together before the premier!  That's awesome.  I loved the book and have always wanted to see Cornwell's stuff done for the big screen (the battles left something to be desired in the BBC's Sharpe movies).

That'll work, lets do it fellas, I'm all in for armoring up for the premier!  This is kinda fortuitous...my 14th-15th C personae is based on a particular character in this book, wow, I'm stoked man!!!!

Speaking of awesome books being put onscreen, anyone have a chance to catch Pillars of the Earth?  Hmm...time to hit the Library section.  :)

I would suggest reading the book...then the show will make sense.  For continuity's sake, they melded some of the characters from the book into a composite for the show...wasn't a bad thing as I thought it worked well.

I believe they have the right idea...an epic book like that really couldn't be done true justice in a 2 hour format...8 hour format gave them a lot more 'real estate' to work with in terms of getting the material into the series.  It is a good deal more dramatic than say, Spartacus, but definitely worth watching.
