Greetings, fellow brothers-in-arms
« on: 2010-09-13, 17:15:44 »
I suppose I should've started here first, apologies all around for not following protocol.  It would seem that we're all like-minded people; hard to find a good medieval-themed forum that hasn't degenerated into a classist-style online society.  Looks like I might've found that one I've been looking for...see you all around.

Thanks for the warm welcome gents...I think the coolest thing about this site is that most of you all are relatively local, right?  Every other forum I've been on might have a handful of people within hailing distance but for the most part were pretty widespread.  Made meet and greets a logistical nightmare at times.  lol

Sir Wolf, I was admiring your rather extensive collection of arms and armor, broken out by period...very well done.  I wanted to do something similar but realized the cash outlay was more than daunting; kudos to you man.

Yep, most of the active member here are pretty local. We do have folks on here from far and wide, but a good number of us are in the WV, VA, MD, DC area, since the forum membership is spreading faster by word of mouth than by google.

Well, I'm glad to be here...nice to be around individuals that aren't separated by continents and such.

Wow...I think I may have met one of the illustrious forum members a couple years ago- if madmanpsu is Matt then yes, I did.  LOL

That name was knockin around in the back of my head but I didn't make the connection til I saw an old email from him...talk about a small world, eh?

Well Matt, we said we'd hook up eventually...and here we are.  Cheers!
