Glad to be a part...
« on: 2016-07-19, 20:19:06 »
As a new member to the forum I am happy to be a part. I've been reading the posts on this forum for awhile and have finally decided to join in. My name is Jason and I live in the Midwest - Jefferson City, Mo. I'm a practitioner of German Longsword but have only studied blossfechten and I figure this may be a good place to discuss harnischfechten. I look forward to connecting with others and hopefully make some new friendships.

Reno to Boston is a BIG move. Are you relocating for your career?

Welcome and well met! Do you practice with a particular club or group?

I study with a handful of people and we currently study under Sword Carolina's online program. Currently we are, to my knowledge, the only group in mid-Missouri, albeit a small group and we are the only group in Missouri that studies German longsword. There are a few groups a couple hours from here but they mostly study Fiore. Someday we may feel more comfortable and try and grow a serious club but we are pretty content with just learning together at this time.
