A unique view of my gauntlets
« on: 2009-06-08, 15:13:09 »
A good friend of mine is an absolutely amazing artist and photographer.  A couple of weeks ago I spent the day in his studio in Baltimore so that he could play with taking photos of some of my weapons.  He posted this shot of my gauntlets on his Flickr page:

While you're there, check out some of his other work as well.

lol! I love it!  :)

His work reminds me of the one vendor/artist at the VARF this year. The lad works with photoshop
and another gaming development software called GIMP. He had made one scene with a battle
worn templar knight in the holy land standing guard in front of a prison with a prisoner in a cell for a
background. He said the knight was a complete fabrication and not a manipulated photo. It was very
accurate armor/weapon wise for the era and extremely realistic looking. The overall picture was a good
14" X 18" with a decent frame which he sold for $100.00!
