Duke Marc de Arundel KSCA is being awesome. Just wanted to share that. :)

All fights are to 3 good blows struck
Fighters still call their own blows
ALL TARGETS COUNT THE SAME, a hit to an arm, leg, head or body counts as one good blow.
There will be a pause when a good blow is struck, to allow fighters to reset. This way, people who drop an arm/leg out of reflex are not penalized....."

Excellent. Counted blows will make for a great format. ;)

At WMAW this year, we experimented with doing counted blows without a reset. Man, that makes for a tough fight. If someone has planted the weapon in your arm, you need to get free of it before you can counter-attack as effectively, of course, so it added the possible strategy of using the weapon to push the other guy around and keep him off balance. :)
